Good recap this week, guys.

I gotta say, though, I really (really!) hate what they're doing to Roy lately. Like Shannon, I'm getting increasingly frustrated, but I'm also getting angry. That DS Swain better not ever show her face in my town, or look out!

I also have a theory about Alya - Based on the trajectory begun this week, I think she's becoming a baddie. She's showing a pretty unempathetic side that we haven't really seen before, kind of shark-like. I think it might take some pretty intense hand-wringing and leaning in by Yasmeen to bring Alya back on the straight and narrow once all the dust settles.

I'm guessing Alya is going to be offered a job in "London' and have to move away for a year (or however long maternity leave is in the UK)

Shark-like! 💯

As maybe one of the "heavy hitters", even I can't remember the cricket bat incident. My lovely moment this week was Sam, Hope and Eliza agreeing to try to help Roy and figure out who actually did the need. Do we think that Rowan is going to steal Simon's business plan before Simon can fund it?

Oooh… yes, I can see Rowan stealing the idea.

Roy had been getting bullied by some thugs back in 2014. Gary broke into the cafe to steal some cash and Roy, mistaking him for one of the thugs, set about him with the bat.

Thank you

sounds familiar but was he charged with that? Seems like defending his property wouldn't be criminal.

Yes, I believe he got community service because he went a little too all-in on trying to batter Gary's skull in.

haha, I can relate to the occasional rage!

Great recap. Dee Dee’s given name is Diana. Which I’m sure could sound like Dana, Dani, etc with the Corrie accent. But in court she’s called Diana. Yes, Alya’s portrayer is pregnant in real life. Maria is very OTT sleeping in the floor in Liam’s room. That storyline will spiral. Detective Swain is um, deluded. No body, but charging Roy with murder? Yes, very poorly handled as Shannon says. I think I’ll have to fast forward through that storyline in Gem. Where there was no mention either of Sean finding the precinct flat. Before Aadi, Evelyn /Courtney lived there, and before that, Paul’s MND friend Shelley. The flat came semi-furnished.

Oooh I think you are correct Aadi moved into Shelley’s flat. But Evelyn and Cassie’s flat became Lauren’s.

Ooooh. I assumed they were the same flat. One set easier than two and all that? Hmmm.

Sean did go and viewed Lauren's flat I recall. But there was no mention of him actually renting something. We were also totally confused when he started pulling his boxes out of the house and suddenly was moving into Shelley's old flat.

I think Dee Dee is Dumb Dumb. The world’s worst lawyer. Perhaps Roy’s defense could be - where is the body??

Sean could be on an episode of Hoarders with the amount of stuff he had in his room.

I can understand Alya being upset with Adam but she is hurting her friend Dee Dee my taking clients away from Bailey/Barlow. Also she better hope that her new employer keeps her on after they get all the new clients.

I wonder how long Simon will stick with his new business plan. He didn’t stick it out long with his last one reselling Amazon returns or whatever it was.

My favourite moment was Sam, Hope and Eliza thinking they will find out what happened to Lauren and helping Roy get out of prison. Although they might because DS Swain isn’t doing much.

I was surprised that Ken seemed to be anti-electric bike. But yes, I agree Simons plan is going to end up like a box of vapes.

Any one catch Sam quoting 'David Suzuki' in his analysis of Leanne's cult? If Sarah had just gone to the sentencing hearing it would have saved a whole lot of drama. How the heck was the psycho not in trouble for coning her way into Roy's flat and filming him? I can't remember who said it but the line of the week for me was "He's not worth the steam off your tea"

And Yasmeen telling Alya to imagine her boss naked! LOL... Is Yasmeen going to end up with Adam??

We did catch the David Suzuki! And I think if any of the -ahem- older women were to try and land a single Adam it would be Mary!

YES!!’ That was my favourite’moment’!

Thanks again - as always, you see things that I miss! So, with Gary and Sarah and the camera - why wouldn't Maria tell Gary that it was there in the first place? I wouldn't be happy about a camera in my home that I didn't know about. I know she's on the edge but that's not couple behavior.

I do think Adam is going overboard on his jerk side... I don't have much sympathy anymore and think Aliyah made the right move. I must have missed the part where she was open to poaching clients and Deedee does not deserve that but they seem to get enough work just with the locals!

Bobby and Carla - really? I expect better of Carla, even for Roy. And speaking of Roy, hasn't he already had a lot of experience with the unfairness of people and the world? Of course this situation is terrible and hard to believe. His naivite does not always work in his favor.

Shannon, I also get that faint bell ringing sometimes! I avoid googling as well.

Thanks again - I look forward to seeing and hearing you both every week.
