I noticed Alina is staying at the Chariot Square Hotel, so along with Stefan’s and also Rowan’s business meetings Debbie must be making a nice packet out of these storylines.
I don’t want to suggest that Coronation Street writers are listening to your podcast but is just me who’s noticed that since you’ve been talking about the interesting/randomly connected people having conversations in the pub or cafe there have been more of them happening! I also love them and am glad they don’t get cut out as they are the bits that bring light and humour and reality into what otherwise would be very dark completely unrealistic
Oh Brittlestar! Allow me this fact check, please. Jack has a half prosthetic foot, *not* leg. So he’s still got his leg, and ankle even.
Joel has no redeeming qualities. I didn’t think he could be even more dastardly before locking Lauren in the flat without a phone, drugging her and triggering premature labour. The acting again in these scenes was out of the park excellent.
Kit protecting Craig? I don’t think so. He’s clearly the next baddie in the wings.
Beth and the t-shirts: I think this is the start of her exit storyline.
Yes, Sean’s flat looks amazing. Agree that Mason isn’t ready for a second chance. Far from it. Betsy Betsy Betsy….. she’s dangerous. I wonde4 if she has any hidden vulnerabilities.
I remember the storyline end, when the Weathy footie guy how can I have forgotten his name already especially since Tracy ran off to Spain with him only recently?!) came by after the surgery to encourage an understandably shattered Jack that he could still play footie, and kicked the ball back and forth together.
I hope Margaret is wrong about Beth leaving. I kind of like her quirkiness.
Joel almost looked like he was fighting his conscience a few times this week. Now that Frankie has arrived, I think things are going to spiral even more downward for Joel. His days may be numbered.
I thought Jack's amputation was below the knee, but I may be mistaken. He sure does have good mobility, considering his disability.
Would a Dr. see a 13 year old for an appointment without a parent present? I thought Dr G. handled it well, but I was surprised that Hope was allowed to make an appointment on her own.
I kind of enjoyed the Betsy/Mason interaction. It was nice to see Mason smile instead of scowl!
I'm going to have to start making notes during your podcast so I can remember everything I want to say. There is a lot of ground being covered in 45 minutes!
I suppose it's a sign of the times. I was raised in the dark ages, where seeing a Dr. without a parent would be absolutely impossible. I remember our Dr. making house calls!

I was wondering what flat Sean was in ( and yes, he did decorate it nicely) but if it was Lauren’s old flat the door is in a different place. It doesn’t look like the same layout ??
I've been trying to figure out which flat Sean is in. I agree with Sheila that if it was Lauren's flat, the door is in the wrong place with respect to the kitchen. It doesn't look like Aadi's old flat either, but we didn't see it all that often, so I could be mistaken.
I agree with you Brittlestar. Joel gave Sabrina a drink not Betsy.
I thought Joel was close to snapping when Dee Dee was keeping his phone from him.
Ahhh yes and she told Betsy and Betsy palmed the card. Thank you - it’s been quite the month!!
My favourite funny this week was during Jack's police interview, Debbie got upset and pulled a fan out her bag and started fanning herself.
Is Mason's my brothers beat me up story true? Or did he just get beat up by someone and he made it up the story fleece people?

I actually thought Jack had a prosthetic for most of his lower leg. Good to know! 🙂

.... Tommy O!
I thought it was most of his lower leg as well. below the knee - he used to limp more - :)
Me too. I could have sworn it was amputated just below the knee.
I hope Margaret is wrong about Beth leaving. I kind of like her quirkiness.

I think Drs are more open to this now especially when it comes to reproductive health. Not seeing them would lead to bigger problems

Isn’t it the flat Aadi had when he lived with Courtney, which was also Paul’s friend Shelly’s before she died
I am pretty sure it was Shelleys flat yes
that's what I thought too

How old is Lauren?
I think the shop is called D & A & A for Aadi and Asha.
Lauren is 18.
