Cassie is definitely after our Kev. He certainly attracts the weirdos. Remember the nurse (Allison?) who kidnapped the baby after a miscarriage? I do think Kev and Abbi are strong, though.

I'm glad it wasn't just me who noticed the magical vehicles this week. I have found the writing a bit lazy recently. They don't seem to be following previously established histories.
I've heard that soap operas have a document they refer to as "the Bible" that gives the history and story ones of everything back to the beginning. Clearly, Corrie would have a large encyclopedia, perhaps even a full room of volumes. Boy, would I like the chance to access that!
Agreed on the writing but I was thinking yesterday about how hard it is to keep the storylines straight as a viewer because there is so much setting up that happens before a story kicks into gear (characters appear, a lingering shot or weird seemingly throwaway comment) and I thought how hard it must be to continually churn out the scripts! It’s non-stop! :)
When did Billy magically get this van? Paul was recently unable to get somewhere because the taxi company sent a driver with the wrong vehicle. If Billy couldn’t have taken him then why didn’t he leave the van for someone else to drive?
Sally is a piece of work, allright! So darn obvious and annoying but we haven't seen that side in a while so it was a good refresher.
I suspect Cassie as well - she's not very subtle. And annoying.
Brittlestar is pretty hard on Bernie - I have mixed feelings about that whole "missing the meeting" bit of history. It's taken her a while to get somewhat on track but like Shannon says, she still has lots of issues.
Sarah and Gary, honestly.... shouldn't those dumb plans/plots be reserved for the younger people? And beating him up didn't work - whaaaaat? what are the chances that Nathan really leaves town now? It never works, not forever at least.
Is Lauren dead, for sure? I guess Shannon might have confirmed that, unintentionally! I really hoped she'd show up alive somehow. Staying tuned - it's going on too long.
Maybe they rented the handi-van? Magical musical cars this week, for sure. Kind of a twisted story just to get Bernie in the police station at the right time.
Kevin and Abi - what a jerk he is! Very thoughtless of him, I'm disappointed. She's being very patient with him and feeling all the guilt. But those nails of hers, always perfection! And she's a mechanic??
Poor Nick - quite the Eeyore lately... rightly so I guess. Brittlestar, you do a perfect imitation of him, and Dev too, of course!

If I had the patience (and money!) for weekly manicures I would want Abby’s nails. But mine wouldn’t even survive one trip to the grocery store, never mind being a mechanic!
I hope Maria kicks Gary to the curb when she finds out he’s lied to her again. They didn’t have money for Liam’s therapy sessions prior to the factory sale. Now that Gary has money let’s just throw it away on Nathan. I’m sure Nathan will be back because he probably had nothing to do with Lauren’s disappearance. My money is still on Joel (I could be wrong but I think I’m doing better than Swain).
Nick saying he’s so alone. Yes no kidding because he somehow lost his son Sam.
My favourite moment was David telling Sarah that Maria is like the sister he’s never had. Or better than the one he’s got.
Can I ask the important question here... What the heck is Sheese! on the shelves in Dev's shop????
Also I was loving the bit with Kev not understanding what goes into building a website and not wanting to pay for it. It's crazy how the garage can go from needing 3 mechanics and a valet one minute to not having any customers and sitting around drinking tea moaning about how there is no work the next.
Did Abbi leave the garage door open on purpose because she knew Cassie would be skulking about and is somehow setting her up? How about Rowan as the murderer? Are these red herrings?
What are the odds that Abi and Cassie have the same drug dealer? Didn't Cassie move there from far away somewhere? I thought Dean was just asking for money but now I can't remember what his reasons were - I didn't think he'd threatened her when he first showed up. And he didn't seem to react much to Cassie when he bumped into her outside the garage.
I found a book about Coronation Street on a discount shelf - I wasn't even looking for it! It only goes up to 2018 so no spoilers but it starts way back before I started watching. On the inside cover is a map of the Street - give a great perspective. I'd attach a photo if I could - no option for that I think.
