A few notes of my own from this week.

- I can't believe no one mentioned our HERO Brian Packam snatching the tablet from the thief and returning it to Paul so Paul can go back to annoying everyone with the voice app

- Gemma and her 'posh' accent had us cracking up

- Glenda was great! As was mentioned so awesome for that actress to get some good scenes

- We didn't get the whole Maria can't stop watching her phone bit.. It's not like Gary's teaching skills are riveting entertainment.. That could have been done better. (The bride was pretty funny)

- Steve is better off without Tracy! Michelle was the love of his life. Oh how I miss Michelle! Even if she couldn't get a flight to be at her child's side when Ryan got attacked by acid.

- Did Mary get a promotion at the flower shop? Who is going to run the place.

- I had to blow the whistle and show the red card when Tracy returned after riding out in the black cab. That's not how Corrie works! We had to stop the episode and make sure we hadn't watched something out of order we were so confused.

- The Rovers KITCHEN! It goes on forever in there! Did Newton & Ridley do that? I swear you could still see the old kitchen thru the door just the other day.

Great episode! I think Bethany had way too much screen time this week. Not sure why they’re making her out to be this smart detective journalist. She should be hanging out with Max, Sabrina and Gav. I know she’s older but she’s not acting that way. Favourite part was when Daniel dragged her home. I always love when David is on. He has such great comments. This week we got to see where Chesney and Gemma’s massive fridge was placed. Also I was surprised at the size of the kitchen in the Rovers.

Yes! The kitchen at the Rovers is suddenly 5 times as large as it was. It went from a tiny kitchenette with a microwave to this well-appointed commercial kitchen! 😂

Shannon, you're right, we are seeing more comic moments. I loved the ice cube spitting fridge. Steve and Tracy are forever, she'll be back. I'd like to see more of George and Eileen as a couple. They have great comic potential.

Favorite moments - definitely David describing leaving messages on Maria's phone!

You forgot the theme at the beginning! I know, we get excited when we have company.... and then it didn't play at the end either, at least I didn't hear it!

OH! And Bethany drunkenly laying it all out how Daisy stole the money and no one believing her! That was great! Can't wait to see what happens next week when someone realizes she is right.

Karen and Janice were fantastic guests! Fun show, guys! I appreciated Brittlestar bringing up the ‘is it the new kindling of choice?’ line that Brian said to Hope Fire-starter Stape - too funny!

Is Coronation Street popular in the U.K.? Great question! I looked it up. According to a 2018 National Post article: "At the height of its popularity, in the mid-1990s, legend insists a quarter of the U.K’s 65-million residents were watching every night. Roughly 8 million there still watch “Corrie,” as admirers fondly call it, today."
